2023-24 EXTRACURRICULAR EVENT INFORMATION

Welcome back Bulldog fans!!!!

Now that school is back in session, we wanted to provide an update on SGF extracurricular events. Know that we strive to provide a positive experience for our athletes, students, and fans, but we cannot accomplish this without your help. We would like to remind all spectators of the following rules for attending events for all SGFCSD-sponsored extracurricular events this year.

  • Any spectator who is engaged in vulgar, profane or abusive conduct – including language – will be removed from our event. At no time should spectators be addressing SGF student-athletes, SGF coaches, referees, opponents, or opposing coaches. Spectators should be supporting our teams and players in a positive and encouraging fashion.

  • Any spectator who is in grade 8 or below MUST be accompanied by an adult in order to attend ANY event. The accompanying adult must be present in order for students to enter and be accessible to the student for the duration of the event.

  • Any student who is in grade 8 and below and is being disruptive will be told to sit in the stands or with their respective adults/parents. If a student has to be addressed a second time, they will be asked to leave. Chaperones will make an effort to have a conversation with the parent/adult of the student first, if they can be located.

  • Spectators are not permitted to enter our buildings or grounds with sporting items/equipment.

  • Keep all items that are not permitted off school grounds (alcohol, tobacco products, drugs, paraphernalia, weapons, etc.) off our fields and stands.

  • Spectators are to remain in the bleachers and other designated viewing areas while contests are taking place.

  • Please note that the porta potties are for ONE person occupancy only (with the exception of a parent/guardian with a small child).

  • Food and beverages (other than water) are not permitted inside the gyms.

  • Artificial noisemakers and amplifying devices are not permitted at indoor events.

  • Mechanical noise makers – such as air horns – are not permitted at outdoor events.

  • No pets are allowed.

  • Be good representatives of our school and pick up your trash at the end of the game and place it in an appropriate receptacle.

  • Whether you are attending games at SGFCSD or other schools, please review the Section 2 Spectator Guidelines prior to the game. The Section 2 Guidelines can be found here: SECTION 2 SPECTATORS CODE OF CONDUCT.

Sportsmanship is an expectation. Let the players play. Let the coaches coach. Let the officials officiate. Fans should be loud, be proud and be positive!

Football Games

Booster Club

Our fall concession signup will be available shortly! Please help by signing up for one of our events. Some of the dates host multiple games and we are trying to open for as many as we can. Grab your family, team, friends or date and give back to the booster!

We will also be selling our student and adult athletic game passes. These passes can get you admission into any South Glens Falls home football or basketball game for this 2023-24 school year (postseason not included). That’s over 25 events! Just show your pass each time at admission and save your cash for our concession stand or 50/50.

  • Student passes = $10 each

  • Adult passes = $20 each

  • Family 4 pack of 2 student/2 adult passes = $50

Passes will be sold before games at admission gates and in the concession stand. Venmo can be used for purchases made at concessions or admission gates. Students with correct change or check (made out to SGF Booster Club) may stop in the Athletics Office to purchase one. Please email questions to boosterclub@sgfcsd.org.
