The South Glens Falls Central School District is starting it strategic planning in November 2023.

The updated strategic plan aims to create a roadmap that reflects the aspects of our district that are already working well and to address areas in which we can make improvements.

The district Board of Education has set a goal to update our district mission statement to reflect the diverse ideas of the SGF community. We are committed to considering your perspectives and opinions on the direction we should take.

We genuinely value your input in making our updated strategic plan the best it can be. We encourage you to share your insights on what we are excelling at and where there's room for growth. Additionally, we are eager to hear your thoughts on what we should prioritize for the future. By combining our strategic plan with our Portrait of a Bulldog vision planning, we hope to provide the best possible outlook for all our students.

The survey allows you to give your thoughts anonymously. You can also view and rate the feedback provided by other community members. We encourage participants to rate at least five other thoughts so we can develop a clearer picture of what our community wants. We encourage an open and ongoing dialogue, so feel free to revisit the platform often and keep the conversation alive.

Your feedback will be instrumental in guiding our future plans, so we urge you to make your voice heard. The survey will remain accessible until Dec. 8, 2023. 

While this is an important first step, we will also be looking for community members to join a workgroup in early March.  More information on how to volunteer will be shared after the first of the year. We hope you will consider joining us for this important step.
